Atlantic Health System Cancer Care offers support groups and programs for breast cancer patients and their caregivers:

Breast Cancer Pre-Surgery Class

A nurse, social worker and physical therapist will explain how to prepare for breast surgery from both a physical and emotional standpoint.

Second and fourth Monday of every month, 3:00 to 4:30pm -and-

Scar Massage

Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Overlook Medical Center mastectomy patients who are at least six weeks post-surgery can receive a private session with a certified massage therapist to help manage their surgical scars.

Breast Cancer Support Group

A licensed social worker and registered nurse lead a discussion-based peer support group for Overlook Medical Center patients in their first year of breast cancer treatment.
