Gregory J. Mulford, MD
Gregory J. Mulford, MD, is medical director of Rehabilitation Services for Atlantic Health and chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital. In addition, he is medical director of the Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute. He is an attending physician at Morristown Memorial and Overlook hospitals. A clinician, physician leader and devoted teacher, Dr. Mulford is clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) - New Jersey Medical School. He is in private practice with Associates in Rehabilitation Medicine in Morristown, New Jersey and is team physician for many local high schools and universities. Dr. Mulford earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and his Doctor of Medicine at the UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He completed his internship at Overlook Hospital and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital under the auspices of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was chief resident. Dr. Mulford's clinical and research interests are focused on electrodiagnosis and sports medicine. He is the author or coauthor of many articles, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Journal of Orthopedic Research, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has delivered numerous local, regional and national invited presentations in his field.
