Therapeutic Fitness Group

The Therapeutic Fitness Group meets weekly and is designed for older children with mobility impairments. Children “work out” in a gym environment under the supervision of a physical therapist who monitors each child’s progress against a set of goals that have been set specifically for that child. A physician referral along with a screening to determine eligibility for the program is required. Each child must be accompanied by a parent throughout the session.
