Overview of the Program and AccreditationsThe program encompasses six months of training in the fundamentals of cardiovascular technology followed by 12 months of instruction in a specialty concentration. At the completion of the program, students are eligible to take the registry exam given by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
