If you need cardiovascular services, you will usually receive a referral from a physician to visit Overlook Hospital. Once your medical needs are determined, you will be admitted to one of several specialized cardiac departments:

• Outpatient Cardiac Services Department
• R. Gregory Sachs Chest Pain Center
• State-of-the-art Coronary Care Unit

Gregory Sachs Chest Pain Center is an example of the caliber of care we offer – it is fully accredited as a Chest Pain Center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers, an international organization that establishes standards for cardiac medicine.  At Overlook Hospital, your health care team will include expert cardiac physicians, clinical registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, care managers and cardiac rehabilitation specialists who will create a comprehensive individualized treatment and recovery plan for you.
