Facility

The Goryeb Children’s Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility built in 2002, which has a 28-bed inpatient unit and an eight-bed PICU in addition to a 44-bed level-three NICU.  Additionally, it boasts a 16-bed pediatric ER, the largest in New Jersey.

As a regional referral and level one trauma center serving approximately 1,200 square miles of northwest NJ, the southern tip of NY State and the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, our experts treat a wide variety of patients: rural, recent immigrant, underprivileged, suburban and privileged.  Each of these groups has very different diseases and issues, which allows our residents to experience true diversity.
