The Eating Disorders Program at Atlantic Health
EDPAH is also part of the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health. The program serves as a place where adolescents, young adults, parents and professionals can obtain information and treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related disorders. A specially trained team of health care professionals including adolescent medicine physicians, eating disorder therapists, and nutritionists provide treatment for eating disorders and related problems, and provide a detailed assessment. Outpatient treatment includes medical monitoring, individual and family therapy, and an intensive outpatient program. The program also provides access to information and services to community and school professionals concerned about eating disorders and young people at risk. EDPAH is located at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey and is part of the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at Goryeb Children’s Hospital, in Morristown, New Jersey. |
