The Division aims to provide a noninvasive evaluation of common and uncommon gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Only 10-15 percent of patients require a procedure. However, when indicated, a full array of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures is available, including:

Upper endoscopy
Colonoscopy
Foreign body removal
Feeding tube placement (PEG)
Nutrition support (including tube feeds and TPN)
Suction rectal biopsy
pH probe
Liver biopsy
Breath hydrogen analysis for lactose intolerance
Esophageal motility
Antroduodenal motility
Colonic motility
Anorectal motility
Gastrostomy tube education
Patient/family education
Direct patient care
