Pediatric GI Support Groups
Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Support GroupParents of a child diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s Disease or ulcerative colitis) can participate in a group that focuses on both the medical and psychosocial aspects of raising a child with this chronic illness. Parents receive education and support from group discussions with other IBD parents and guest speakers. Pediatric Celiac Disease Support GroupThis parent group focuses on nutritional and psychosocial aspects related to raising a child with celiac disease (gluten sensitivity). Parents receive education and support from group discussions with other celiac disease parents and guest speakers. Raising Healthy EatersRaising Healthy Eaters presents healthy, realistic expectations for the physical and emotional nourishment of your child. Designed for parents and caregivers concerned about the growth and proper nourishment of their children, this program addresses poor eating habits, general nutrition and managing family meals with the demands of today’s lifestyles. Classes are led by a pediatric nutritionist and social worker and are broken down by age groups.
