Grand Rounds
Grand Rounds occurs on Thursday mornings and is host to a variety of speakers who are national, regional and local experts.

Case Review
Once a month with our Chairman/Program Director, the residents present a grand-rounds style, PowerPoint presentation on interesting cases. This highly educational conference is attended by all of the residents, as well as the faculty and community OB/GYNs.

Resident Research Day
The Division of Academic Affairs sponsors a yearly resident research day. All residents present their research projects, and awards are given to outstanding projects.

Teachings Rounds
Daily with our covering attending.

Journal Club
Quarterly with the faculty/fellows, this conference is given by the second and third year residents on an article of their choice. Residents and faculty scrutinize the article’s arguments and evidence, while the resident defends it.

Research Meetings
Quarterly with your research mentor.

Core Curriculum
Four times per year with our faculty.

Resident Program Meeting
Four times per year with our Program Director, this is a time for the residents to have an informal discussion regarding their experiences during the residency.

Bio Skills Lab
Once a month with our urogynecology fellows, a state-of-the-art bio skills lab allows for simulations in surgical procedures, as well as team training for crisis situations.

*Simulations
One to two times per month with the Director of Labor and Delivery, a state-of-the-art bio skills lab allows for simulations in surgical procedures, as well as team training for crisis situations.

Breast Tumor Board
Four times per month with Pathology/Surgery, this multidisciplinary conference includes representatives from the entire health care team - it focuses on a comprehensive management strategy for the breast cancer patient.

*Chairman’s Rounds
Two times per month with our Chairman/Program Director, interesting cases are discussed.

Tumor Board (Gynecology/Oncology)
Four times per month with Pathology/Gynecology/Oncology, this multidisciplinary conference is moderated by the gynecologic oncologists and includes representatives from the entire health care team. It focuses on a comprehensive management strategy for the gynecologic oncology patients.

Fetal Monitoring Rounds
Four times per month with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, interesting tracings are discussed along with management strategies.

Ultrasound Conference
Once per month with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, interesting ultrasounds are presented.

Genetics Conference
Once per month with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, interesting patients and relevant topics are discussed.

Cadaver Lab
Once per month with Urogynecology, this lab gives each resident the opportunity to practice and perfect complex procedures prior to the operating room.
