Gynecologic Oncology

The three board certified gynecologic oncologists in this department perform nearly 800 surgeries each year including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures.  In addition, residents will have exposure to interdisciplinary tumor board with pathology review, Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) treatment and surgical protocols.

Atlantic Maternal-Fetal Medicine, based at Morristown Memorial Hospital, has served northwest New Jersey for more than 20 years. Residents will learn about the many services offered through this department, including:  diagnostic ultrasounds in all trimesters, amniocenteses, chorionic villus sampling, ultrascreen, consultations, deliveries, education and teaching, community outreach, and genetic screening.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Our faculty members are a part of a reproductive medicine facility with one of the highest success rates in advanced reproductive techniques for patients with all degrees of reproductive disorders and advanced age; approximately 10,000 IVF cycles occur each year. Residents working with the reproductive medicine team will gain in depth experience in all facets of infertility, and will have the ability to do research and pursue fellowships if desired.

The Division of Urogynecology offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art management of pelvic floor disorders including all surgical and non-surgical options for the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, and fecal incontinence. Residents will gain experience in cystosopy, urodynamic testing, electrodiagnostic testing on the pelvic floor and anal manometry. In addition, residents can receive certification for robotic surgery using the da Vinci® surgical system.   Robotic Surgery
