ABC’s of Going Home With Your Baby ($75)
A five hour class, with a lot of “hands-on” practice, that teaches the basics of infant care – makes the first days at home a bit easier.

Becoming a Grandparent ($35)
Prospective grandparents learn the latest in childbirth and infant care. Includes tour of Maternity Center.

Breastfeeding Your Baby ($35)
Give your baby a healthy start – learn breastfeeding basics.

Calm Birth ($60 - fee includes "Calm Birth" CD)
Birth method based in complementary medicine, using practices of neuromuscular release and meditation.

Early Pregnancy ($35)
Attend before your sixth month of pregnancy. Learn about comfort techniques, prenatal exercise, fetal development, nutrition, physical and emotional changes, and working during pregnancy. Return in your seventh month for Prepared Childbirth: Instruction for Labor and Birth.

Especially for Siblings ($35 for first child; $5 for each additional child)
Prepare future big brothers and sisters for the arrival of a new sibling through family-focused activities.  Exchange tips with other parents during children’s snack time. Includes tour of Maternity Center.

Go Baby Green ($35)
Parents-to-be, new parents and caregivers learn about everyday cleaning products, their hazards, safe alternatives and ways to create a non-toxic home environment.

Great Expectations: Prepared Childbirth and Infant Care for Parents Expecting Twins, Triplets or More ($75)
Get ready for the big day with a program geared specifically to birth and care of multiples. Program includes tour of Maternity Center and NICU.

Happiest Baby on the Block ($60*)
Parents-to-be and caregivers of babies three months old or younger will learn step-by-step instructions on how to soothe even the fussiest infant in minutes. Program titles include The Missing Fourth Trimester, The Calming Reflex, The Five S’s and The Cuddle Cure.
*Cost includes the "The Happiest Baby on the Block" DVD and a soothing sounds CD.

Maternity Center Tours
Expecting mothers can take a tour of Morristown Memorial’s Maternity Center. In addition, moms can bring two guests that are 18 years of age or older. Registration is required for both moms and guests; there is a security check-in on the day of the tour and a photo ID must be shown. Please note that our maternity center tours are included in some Parent Education classes.
Third Wednesday of every month, 7:00pm; Fridays, 2:00pm; and every other Saturday, 10:30am and 1:30pm

Prenatal Aqua-Aerobics ($75)
Come exercise in our therapy pool. One-hour class held once a week for six weeks. Class held at Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute.

Prenatal Exercise ($75)
Build strength and confidence during your pregnancy. One-hour program meets once a week for six weeks. Class held at Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute.

Prepared Childbirth: Instruction for Labor and Birth ($120 series; $150 one day class)
Prepare for the big event. Topics include physical and emotional changes during labor and delivery, comfort measures including breathing and relaxation techniques, partner’s role, medication options, post-delivery recovery, and cesarean birth. Offered as a weekday or weekend series or as a one-day option. Class also available in Spanish. Includes tour of Maternity Center.
