Physical Rehabilitation

At Atlantic Health, we know that you place a high value on independence and your ability to perform and function at top levels. Although illness, injury and chronic conditions can limit these abilities, our skilled rehabilitation professionals – including physiatrists, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists – can help you learn new skills and ways to adapt.  We focus on helping you reduce pain, increase strength and endurance, and teach you ways to limit or avoid future pain and injury.

Atlantic Rehabilitation Services provides a broad range of support at the acute, subacute, inpatient and outpatient levels at the following locations: Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute; Atlantic Integrative Medicine’s Mind Body Center; Atlantic Home Care and Hospice; the Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation in Morristown; and our hospitals – Morristown Memorial Hospital and Overlook Hospital.

The physical therapists were a wonderful team – they worked together and make the time spent with them helpful, pleasant and even enjoyable – we all loved the games they played with us as they tried to put a smile on our face even though we might have been in pain.
