Diagnostic Radiology
This is a four-year program based at Morristown Memorial Hospital and integrated with Overlook Hospital in Summit.
- Ultimately, 20 residents will be in training, with five entering each year.
- Senior residents enjoy high success rate on written and oral boards.
- Over 290,000 examinations performed per year, combined.
- Majority of graduates pursue further specialty training and many obtain fellowships at prestigious East Coast institutions.
Offerings
- Work with enthusiastic faculty on a one-on-one apprenticeship basis during all clinical rotations.
- Emphasis on individual subspecialty rotation and evolving technologies.
- Includes 50-page introductory manual, radiological-pathological correlation course at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) and participation in ongoing research projects.
