Overlook Hospital combines the comfort and security of a regional hospital and offers a full range of medical services. Our specialized facilities and programs include: Atlantic Neuroscience Institute, Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, Goryeb Children's Center, Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, a maternity center, a center of excellence in bariatric surgery, a pioneering wound healing program with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a Level III Intensive Perinatal Unit and award-winning emergency medicine services.

We also offer comprehensive programs in breast health, pulmonary medicine, thyroid cancer, minimally invasive surgery, women's heart health, sleep medicine and adolescent eating disorders – amongst many others.

From the greeter at the front door, to the staff in the pre-op and blood lab, to those who serviced me with CT scans before and after, to the operating nurses and assisting physicians, and all who were on the 9th floor, I had the feeling of being at a 'Four Seasons' hospital. As I have said to anyone willing to listen, it was a very pleasant five day vacation.
