Baby Signing: An Introductory Seminar ($25)
Learn to communicate with your baby through sign language (program is for adults only).
Go Baby Green ($35)
Parents-to-be, new parents and caregivers learn about everyday cleaning products, their hazards, safe alternatives and ways to create a non-toxic home environment.
Happiest Baby on the Block ($60*)
Parents and caregivers of babies three months old or younger will learn step-by-step instructions on how to soothe even the fussiest infant in minutes. Program titles include The Missing Fourth Trimester, The Calming Reflex, The Five S’s and The Cuddle Cure.
*Cost includes the "The Happiest Baby on the Block" DVD and a soothing sounds CD.
Healthy Eating for Babies, Toddlers and Families
Learn the basics of promoting positive, healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime:
Healthy Eating for Babies: Starting Solids and Beyond ($35)
For parents of babies three to six months; understand your baby's individual feeding needs.
Toddler Nutrition I ($35)
For parents of toddlers nine to 18 months; learn how to ease the transition to table food.
Toddler Nutrition II ($35)
For parents of toddlers 18 to 24 months; topics include creative menus, snack suggestions and behavior issues with feeding.
Feeding Your Healthy Family ($35)
For parents and caregivers; learn practical ways to cook healthy meals every day using our easy, five-step plan.
Moms and Babies Together
Three-week classes for moms and babies, ages six-weeks to five-months old:
Building Blocks ($50)
Topics include: your baby’s temperament; reading baby’s cues; baby bio-rhythms; creating a schedule; and healthy eating for babies – breastfeeding, formula and baby food.
Hand in Hand ($50)
Learn about keeping baby safe and healthy, the art of baby massage, exercise for you and baby, baby signing, emerging language, and structured play for stimulating the senses.
Postpartum Group
New mothers meet and learn coping strategies to help them with their new role. Classes are held at Atlantic Behavioral Health Outpatient. To register, please call 1-888-247-1400.
