Golf Fitness Program

The golf driving action is the most unnatural and complex of all swinging movements. The modern golf swing places stresses on the human body through both execution and repetition. As a result, these stresses leave many golfers with acute or chronic injuries.

Our “Swing Away” Golf Fitness Program is a unique, integrated “hands-on” physical therapy program developed to improve your body’s performance before you ever swing the club.

Led by physical therapists specially trained in the BACKtoGOLF performance and rehabilitation program, the focus is to identify major physical factors that could lead to swing faults and potential injuries, as well as to make you conscious of the importance of proper posture during your golf swing.

Based on an individual swing analysis, as well as an assessment of balance, posture, strength, flexibility and coordination, a customized exercise program is developed that may include stretching, strengthening, core stabilization and cardiovascular conditioning.
