Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists provide comprehensive therapy services for individuals with a variety of post-traumatic, post-surgical, neurological and degenerative conditions that may include hand/upper arm injuries, stroke, arthritis, joint replacement surgery, and the increasingly common cumulative trauma disorders or repetitive motion disorders.

Treatment in the Occupational Therapy Department focuses on five performance areas to enable patients to participate in the meaningful activities of daily life: motor, sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, and social functioning.
