Genetic Counseling

The Hereditary Risk Assessment Program at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center is offered in collaboration with The Cancer Institute of New Jersey for individuals and families with a history of cancer.

Our genetic counselor will collect personal medical and family history information and provide education about the genetics of cancer and the likelihood that the cancers in your family are hereditary. You will learn about genetic susceptibility testing, insurance issues and other important information in a clear, confidential manner.

Referrals to other health care professionals are provided as necessary.
