Atlantic Healthy Schools, part of the Atlantic Center for Population Health Sciences, is a collaborative project that brings together health care professionals and members of school communities with the goal of improving the health of all students. Using the “Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child” model developed by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we recognize that school health has many, multifaceted components. A partnership approach to school health will allow us to share best practices and outcomes, as well as support each other along this continuing journey.
