Summit, NJ, August 2012 – Overlook Medical Center hosts the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute’s inaugural “Day of Hope: Living Well with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s” on Saturday, September 8 from 8:00am to 1:00pm in the Bouras Auditorium.
This event is for patients, care partners and community members to learn about new research and treatment options, as well as to come together and receive inspiration, entertainment and information on helpful resources.

Members of Overlook Medical Center's Movement Disorders Program and integrative medicine will demonstrate and provide sample classes of the hospital's Wellness and Support programs, including dance, tai chi, exercise and meditation, specifically designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease. A variety of organizations and programs will provide exhibits with information on wellness, support and care resources.
A light breakfast will be provided. Parking in the West Garage is available at a discounted rate and discounted valet service is available with a handicap plate or placard.
