Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute

The Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute in New Jersey is a 78-bed comprehensive, patient care rehabilitation facility that includes our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, Subacute Unit and  Outpatient Services.  We treat the physically challenged individual through the coordinated use of medical, functional, psychological, social, educational and vocational services.

Medical conditions we help with include:

• Stroke
• Major multiple trauma
• Neurological disorders
• Amputation
• Orthopedic
• Spinal cord injury
• Wound care
• Polyarthritis
• Hip fractures

Our interdisciplinary medical team is made up of physiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, internists, rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, a psychologist, a recreational therapist, a vocational rehabilitation counselor, dietician, audiologist and a care manager.  We provide individualized, goal-oriented services that are designed to minimize the handicapping effects of medical conditions and disorders, and to help our patients return to a fully productive life.
