Atlantic Health's Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Residency Program, located at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ, and Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, offers a university level education in community hospital settings.

Dynamic teaching faculty, abundant opportunities for clinical research and diverse patient needs characterize the four-year OB/GYN residency program. Nestled in the beautiful communities of Morristown and Summit, the hospitals provide state-of-the-art health care for women of northwestern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and southern New York. The program, which admits four new residents each year for a total of 16 residents, is big enough to handle our patient load, but small enough to maintain a special camaraderie and family feeling among residents. Students from Mount Sinai School of Medicine have the opportunity to undertake their OB/GYN rotation at Atlantic Health.

Atlantic Health is the primary academic and clinical affiliate in New Jersey of Mount Sinai School of Medicine and The Mount Sinai Hospital.  This affiliation has enhanced the opportunities for residents to engage in basic science, as well as clinical research in a multitude of areas.
