Atlantic Health System offers cardiovascular support groups and programs through Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute and Atlantic Training Center:

Healthy Lifestyles
The Atlantic Healthy Lifestyles – Integrative Medicine Centers offer more than 20 different types of outpatient healing treatments, including holistic health assessments, nutritional assessments and counseling, lifestyle coaching, acupuncture and massage. Our experts can help you address current health concerns or work with you to prevent health issues such as high blood pressure and cholesterol, weight issues, stress and more.

Mended Hearts
A monthly support group for heart disease patients and caregivers; cardiac physicians and allied health professionals will discuss topics on heart health. Registration is not required. For information, email or visit the website.

Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
This three-hour course, offered by the Atlantic Training Center, teaches CPR/AED and relief of obstructed airway for adults and children. Registration is required.

Heartsaver
This three-hour course, offered by the Atlantic Training Center, teaches CPR and relief of obstructed airway for adults, children and infants. Registration is required.

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (Full Course)
This two-night, six-hour course, offered by the Atlantic Training Center, is designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and covers adult, infant, child CPR, obstructed airway, barrier devices and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Registration is required. Classes are offered at Morristown Medical and Overlook Medical Center.

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (Renewal)
This three-hour course, offered by the Atlantic Training Center, renews the skills taught in the full Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider course. It is recommended that these skills be renewed every two years. Registration is required. Classes are offered at Morristown Medical and Overlook Medical.
