Eating Disorders
The Eating Disorders Program at the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center and Goryeb Children’s Center at Overlook Medical Center is the only multidisciplinary program in New Jersey exclusively for children and adolescents. We offer education and treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Our multidisciplinary program has a team of health care professionals that includes board-certified adolescent medicine physicians, psychologists, a psychiatrist, a child life specialist, nurses, social workers, therapists and nutritionists. All of whom are specially trained in providing comprehensive assessments and treatments for eating disorders and related problems.
We also provide educational information and services to community and school professionals concerned about eating disorders and young people at risk.
The Eating Disorders Program is located at Goryeb Children’s Center at Overlook Medical with some services also available at Goryeb Children's Hospital at Morristown Medical.
