These designations recognize that our hip replacement and knee replacement programs are patient-centered, comprehensive and well developed, resulting in better outcomes for patients.

Our spine care program, which has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission for spine surgery, offers procedures to correct vertebrae disorders and alleviate back pain.

Additionally, our Trauma Center is verified as a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey. And, we are home to the North Jersey Regional Arthritis Center where you can receive community disease management and health education.

Atlantic Health System orthopedic surgeons at the Trauma Center at Morristown Medical Center treat more than 1,500 people annually with complex injuries resulting from motor vehicle collisions or other incidents. Our trauma center is verified as a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey.
