These designations recognize that our hip replacement and knee replacement programs are patient-centered, comprehensive and well developed, resulting in better outcomes for patients.

Our spine care program, which has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission for cervical and lumbar spine treatments, offers procedures to correct vertebrae disorders and alleviate back pain.

Additionally, our Trauma Center is verified as a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey. Atlantic Health System orthopedic surgeons at the Trauma Center at Morristown Medical treat more than 1,500 people annually with complex injuries resulting from motor vehicle collisions or other incidents. The Trauma Center at Morristown Medical is verified as a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey.
