Our Department of Radiology provides a complete spectrum of state-of-the-art imaging and imaging-guided interventional procedures for the musculoskeletal system. In addition to the conventional and digital radiography of the bones and joints, we offer computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound (US) and nuclear medicine (NM).
For the most comprehensive, noninvasive evaluation of joints (often required by high-caliber athletes), standard arthrography, in which radiographic contrast is injected into the joint; computed tomography; arthrography; and magnetic resonance arthrography are routinely performed by radiologists specializing in musculoskeletal services.
We offer imaging at Morristown Medical Center and in several satellite locations for the convenience of our patients and referring physicians. All images are captured in an electronic format, allowing radiologists and referring physicians to view images on computer screens and consult via telephones in their offices. This also enables our patients to take a CD to the physician's office for review or second opinion.
