Orthopedic Trauma
The Trauma Center at Morristown Medical Center is verified as a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and designated a Level II by the state of New Jersey. The Center treats approximately 1500 trauma patients per year, as well as many patients with orthopedic injuries. Three of the 12 certified orthopedic trauma surgeons in New Jersey practice at Morristown Medical, and all of our trauma staff employ state-of-the-art techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, to treat complicated fractures of the pelvis, upper and lower extremities.
