Pediatric Orthopedics
Children with complex orthopedic conditions ranging from congenital abnormalities to conditions related to trauma require unique care. At Atlantic Health System facilities we provide specialty treatment for infants through young adults with complex orthopedic conditions. We adapt our services to meet a growing child's changing needs, providing ongoing medical, rehabilitative and support services at each stage of the child's development, enabling all of our young patients to reach their full potential.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation can help a child gain the skills needed to be more self-sufficient. Adaptive equipment, such as braces, walkers and communication devices, allows children and their families to deal with the emotional, social and day-to-day challenges that accompany orthopedic conditions. We can customize braces and other assistive technology for a child's individual needs.
