Atlantic Health System's intensive care units (ICU) provide life-sustaining care to improve the outcome and survival rates of critically ill pulmonary patients. Using mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring and support, aggressive resuscitation and other forms of critical care intervention, our staff helps improve quality of life for the ICU patient and keeps family members informed at every step of the patient's progress. A multidisciplinary approach ensures that every Atlantic Health System Pulmonary Center patient receives the specialized care he or she needs.
