All tests and procedures offered at Morristown Medical Center's Radiology Department and its outpatient facilities require a scheduled appointment, except x-rays, which are performed on a walk-in basis. Please note that wait times vary depending on the volume of patients being seen at the time of your arrival. X-ray volume is typically high between the hours of 11:30am to 1:30pm. A signed prescription with proper diagnosis code (ICD-9 code) is required for all procedures. Patients must have photo identification and insurance cards. Pre-certification may be required by your insurance for a scheduled appointment; please check with your insurance provider prior to scheduling an appointment.
All patients will receive separate bills from the hospital (Morristown Medical/Atlantic Health System) and Morris Imaging Associates (radiology physician group).
For breast imaging (mammograms, breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsies and breast MRI) and bone density appointments, please call Carol W. and Julius A. Rippel Breast Center at 973-971-6602.
For interventional radiology appointments, please call 973-971-5830.
