Adult Day Care
Adult day care provides seniors with an active, social environment throughout the day while enabling them to return to the comfort of home in the evening. Both social and medical services are often available at these types of programs.
Social adult day care usually offers community and recreational activities for older people who may need some supervision for safety and activities of daily living, but do not require medical attention.
Medical adult day care typically includes social services, as well as nursing and personal care, such as medication assistance or bathing.
