Meals
We make sure your meals are delicious, nutritious and in accordance with the diet prescribed by your physician. Daily menus offer many options, including anti-inflammatory selections, as well as kosher, vegetarian and vegan meals. If you require specific cultural food items, please contact our clinical nutrition coordinator at 973-971-5407. A representative from the Food and Nutrition Department will deliver a daily menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner options in the morning; simply circle your selections. You can also choose menu items from our “Or You May Prefer” menu, which offers dishes not listed on the daily menu.
Guest Tray Service
Your visitors can order breakfast, lunch or dinner guest trays and dine with you. Each meal is $7.00 and must be ordered in advance. The meal cost will be charged to your account. To arrange for a guest tray, call the Diet Office at 973-971-5408.
Au Bon Pain
Au Bon Pain offers a selection of baked goods, sandwiches, salads and soups, coffee and cappuccino for purchase. Located on Franklin 1, Au Bon Pan is open Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 11:00pm, Saturday, 7:00am to 11:00pm, and Sunday, 7:00am to 10:00pm. Au Bon Pain also offers limited service in the Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Motown Café
The Motown Café, open to visitors and employees, is located on Jefferson B. Hours of operation are:
- 1:00 to 6:30am, early grab n’ go
- 6:30 to 10:00am, breakfast
- 10:00 to 11:00am, grab n’ go
- 11:00am to 2:00pm, lunch
- 2:00 to 4:00pm, grab n’ go
- 4:00 to 7:00pm, dinner
Although the café is closed from 7:00pm to 1:00am, vending machines located in the café’s seating area are available 24 hours a day. Patients and visitors can check the patient education channel for more details on the Motown Café.
