Atlantic Health System is proud to offer patients and their families the opportunity to communicate news and updates online. TheStatus.com, provided free of charge, enables patients to stay in touch with friends and family using the web. Patients can post information, read emails and compose response messages at their leisure.
Expectant and new parents can also use theStatus.com to share photos, feelings and facts about their baby. TheStatus.com is the perfect venue to keep friends and family apprised of a patient's condition, visiting hours, phone numbers, photos and more.
Creating a page is easy – just visit theStatus.com and click on “create a new page.” It usually takes no more than 20 minutes to set up a page. The patient’s privacy and confidentiality are maintained with a password and/or encryption to prevent unauthorized access. Visitors who have been given the password by the patient can read updates, post messages and sign a guest book. Every patient’s page can be viewed from any computer, anywhere, using a web browser.
