Neuro Critical Care Helicopter and Ground Transport
Atlantic Ambulance Corporation’s Neuro Critical Care Transport team, in collaboration with Atlantic Neuroscience Institute, consists of specially-trained medical personnel, including a critical care nurse, a paramedic and an emergency medical technician (EMT). They provide medical air and specialty ground transport 24 hours a day, seven days a week to transport patients to Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center for the highest level of neuroscience care, including advanced interventions. Ground transport can reach most community hospitals in Northern New Jersey within 45 minutes, and medevac air transport can reach most NJ hospitals within minutes.
Morristown Medical is home to a regional trauma center and the most severely injured patients may be brought to us by ambulance or helicopter. Patients may also be transferred by ambulance to Overlook Medical.
