Stroke Center at Overlook Medical Center
Atlantic Neuroscience Institute’s Stroke Center at Overlook Medical Center provides state-of-the-art medical care aimed at minimizing both the immediate and secondary brain damage from a stroke, while maximizing our patients' chance for full recovery.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of neurologists, interventional neuroradiologists, cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, endovascular neurosurgeons, stroke nurse practitioners, stroke program coordinators and neuroscience nurse educators. They are part of a dedicated stroke unit and supported by a neuro intensive care unit (ICU) with specially-trained nurses and rehabilitation therapists.
Diagnostic and treatment services are provided with assistance from Overlook Medical Center's Inpatient Neuroscience Unit, and an array of outpatient programs, including a highly-successful emergency medicine service (EMS) and a community education program, are also available.
