Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is used to help patients who are recovering from injury regain the functional abilities necessary for daily life and independence. Techniques focus on adapting environments, modifying tasks or teaching basic skills. Patients that may benefit from occupational therapy at Atlantic Rehabilitation at Newton Medical Center include those with:

Our occupational therapists are licensed by the state of New Jersey and many have advanced certification in hand therapy. They can help patients learn how to perform daily activities easily and safely, while conserving energy and preventing further injury. Services include:
