The fact is most women put the health and well-being of their families before their own. To recognize them for their important role as health navigators, Newton Medical Center is once again dedicating its efforts to informing, supporting and empowering women through a new campaign: Heart of the Family – Year of Women’s Health.
Taking Your Health to Heart
Most women are not aware that heart disease is the leading cause of death in females in the United States, accounting for more deaths than all forms of cancer combined. Newton Medical Center’s Heart of the Family campaign serves to shine a light on this condition and the enormous impact it can have on the lives of women and their families.
