Overlook Medical Center’s Speech Therapy Department offers videofluoroscopic swallow study, a test that determines if a patient has dysphagia, or a swallowing disorder. It is performed by a speech-language pathologist and a radiologist, who make recommendations about diet modifications and swallowing treatments based on the test results.
The videofluoroscopic swallow study is conducted in the radiology department of the hospital, located on the fourth floor. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to complete the registration process.
