

Our staff will carefully evaluate your wound and overall health status at the first appointment. We may also take a blood sample or perform other simple tests to gather as much information as possible about your condition. The first appointment will probably take one to two hours.
Based on the information we collect, our team of physicians and nurses -- who will work with your primary care physician -- will develop a customized treatment plan. Typically this will include a series of appointments at The Wound Healing Program at Overlook Medical Center, plus special dressings or bandages and detailed instructions on home care. We will monitor progress carefully with examinations, photographs and measurements of your healing wound, and week by week make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
