Join classes where certified childbirth educators guide you and your partner through pain management strategies such as relaxation techniques and breathing patterns and teach you comfort measures for birth. Big brothers and big sisters play a very important role in welcoming a new member into the family. If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 10 and would like him or her to know more about this process, then join this 90-minute program. A short video, holding and diapering practice and a tour of the Newton Medical Center Maternity Center are just some of the activities included. Classes are held on Sunday afternoons.
