Most patients who participate through regular visits to our program heal successfully, even those who have been suffering from chronic wounds for years. Among the benefits of treatment at our center are quicker recovery, lower rates of hospitalization, increased prevention of prolonged and/or permanent disability, and decreased risk of limb amputation for people with severe wounds.
Wound healing services are available at the Carole and Joseph Katz MD Wound Healing Center at Overlook Medical Center and Overlook Wound Healing – Union Campus.
