Eva Goldenberg, Vice President, Atlantic Health System

Eva Goldenberg assumed her position as Vice President, Corporate Compliance & Internal Audit, Chief Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer and Research Integrity Officer in 2016. She previously served as the Director since joining Atlantic Health System in 2011.

In her role, Ms. Goldenberg is responsible for Atlantic Health System’s corporate compliance program, financial and clinical internal audit function, HIPAA privacy and research compliance.

Prior to joining Atlantic Health System, Ms. Goldenberg served for four years as Vice President, Human Resources, Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Newton Medical Center. For 12 years before joining Newton, Ms. Goldenberg held the roles of Vice President, Human Resources and Assistant General Counsel of Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. Prior to her career at Russ Berrie, Ms. Goldenberg practiced corporate law at Kelley Drye and Warren in New York City and Riker Danzig in Morristown, New Jersey.

Ms. Goldenberg is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, and Society for Human Resources Management, Association of Corporate Counsel, New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association, American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association and New York Bar Association. Ms. Goldenberg is a member of the Board of Trustees of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern New Jersey, where she has held various leadership and executive committee roles for more than a decade.

Ms. Goldenberg received her undergraduate degree in Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of Chicago and her Juris Doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York and is certified in healthcare compliance.
