As a child, Valerie often found herself in trouble for neglecting homework in favor of getting lost in a favorite book. Guilty as charged, her lifelong appreciation for great storytelling fires her passion for creativity and helping others and drives her as Atlantic Health System’s Chief Marketing Officer. For Valerie and her team, the opportunity to share the extraordinary care our team members provide and evolve the digital consumer experience is a riveting story with each new chapter more exciting than the last.
Throughout Valerie’s tenure, Atlantic Health System Marketing and Communications has been recognized for exceptional work on both national and local stages by the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society, Ad Age, Modern Healthcare, the Healthcare Marketing Report, the Telly Awards and the SPOKEies Awards. At the end of 2018, Atlantic Health System was recognized at the eHealthcare Leadership Awards, tying with Cleveland Clinic and receiving a platinum award for Best Content, leading the most competitive category, which included Gold and Silver winners such as Massachusetts General, Mayo Clinic, UNC Health Care and UCLA Health. The new website also received a silver award in the category of Best Patient Access and Convenience.
