Wait times represent the average estimated length of time from registration to being assigned a "first provider" (a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant). Times displayed for Atlantic Health Systems are:

  • Reported as an average of wait times for the previous 2 hours of patients that have presented to the emergency department and have been seen by a provider
  • Refreshed at least every 15 minutes

Many circumstances can affect wait times - for example, patients arriving by ambulance or with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Patients with severe conditions will be seen before those with less-serious problems or ailments. These times are provided for informational purposes only and cannot be guaranteed upon arrival.

Kid- Fit Sport

Parents looking to improve their child’s athletic performance can turn to Goryeb Children’s Hospital’s Kid-Fit Sport program.

Services available to athletes ages 8 to 18 include:

  • Body composition analysis – uses state-of-the-art technology to accurately measure body composition and body fat percentage
  • Nutritional counseling – helps athletes learn what foods to eat to get the most out of their bodies
  • VO2 max testing – measures the maximum amount of oxygen someone can use during intense physical activity; a personalized training program is provided to each athlete based on results

There is a minimal fee for each lifestyle assessment.

As part of Atlantic Health System Children’s Health, physician services are provided through Atlantic Medical Group and are on staff at Goryeb Children’s Hospital.
