For children with life-limiting conditions, pediatric palliative care at Atlantic Health System Children's Health offers services that minimize suffering and enhance the quality of life of both our patients and their families. Palliative care is often provided alongside life-prolonging care or as a stand-alone treatment.

Our pediatric palliative care services include:
- Active and compassionate therapy
- Management of pain and other distressing symptoms
- Psychosocial and spiritual care
- Support services for caregivers
We take a holistic approach to our therapies, helping patients and their families fulfill their physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspirations, while remaining sensitive to personal, cultural and religious beliefs.
Our interdisciplinary team of physicians will collaborate with patients, families and caregivers, making them an active part of the care team. We’ll support their hopes for a cure and prolonged life and assist them in making decisions to reach those goals.
