Adaya Weissler-Snir, MD, MSc, MRCP(UK), is a cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, inherited cardiovascular diseases and cardiogenetics. Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and medical director of the Atlantic Health Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program, she has more than 15 years of experience caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including inherited cardiomyopathies and arrhythmia syndromes. She performs the full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures.
After earning her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Dr. Weissler-Snir completed a residency in internal medicine at Meir Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Rabin Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, in Israel. She subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in inherited cardiovascular diseases at University College London in London, United Kingdom, as well as fellowships in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the University of London.
Prior to joining Atlantic Health, Dr. Weissler-Snir served as director of the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program at Hartford HealthCare in Hartford, CT; director of the Inherited Arrhythmia and Cardiomyopathy Program at Mount Sinai in New York, NY; and director of the Cardiogenetics Program at Montefiore Health System in the Bronx, NY.
Dr. Weissler-Snir has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributed to textbook chapters on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac electrophysiology, and delivered invited presentations at national and international scientific meetings. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Society. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and partnering with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans for inherited heart conditions and cardiac rhythm disorders. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care
Organization.
