Elda P Sancho Mora, MD

Board certified in psychiatry, neurology and forensic psychiatry, Dr. Elda Sancho Mora is an integral part of Morristown Medical Center Psychiatry. Her clinical background spans everything from organization-wide operations management to one-on-one patient care. Dr. Sancho Mora was the acting medical director for Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in Morris Plains. Other leadership positions included president of the medical staff and chief of psychiatry, in addition to serving as a licensed clinical psychiatrist where she provided direct patient care, consultations, evaluations and recommendations to the New Jersey Superior Court.Dr. Sancho Mora is a clinical assistant professor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and former clinical assistant professor at New York University School of Medicine, where she attained her fellowship training. Here, she also served as site supervisor for the forensic fellowship program and was a member of the program's review committee.During her residency at Maimonides Medical Center's Community Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Sancho Mora was chief resident and was awarded resident of the year. She was also a member of the program's advisory committee. Dr. Sancho Mora also performed a psychiatry residency at the National Psychiatric Hospital in San Jose, Costa Rica and attained her medical degree from the University of Costa Rica School of Medicine.
