Chatham Family Medicine offers a wide range of patient-centered care for the community in a friendly, caring environment. Our primary care physicians are trained in family medicine and treat each patient throughout his or her life. Infants, toddlers and school-aged children; adolescents and young adults; the middle-aged and the elderly all find a medical home with their family medicine doctor. It is not uncommon for a physician practicing family medicine to be treating three generations of a family.

Chatham Family Medicine provides the following health care services :

  • Complete health assessments and physical exams
  • Women's health exams, including Pap smears
  • Newborn, infant and child care
  • Adult and adolescent medicine
  • Inpatient hospital care
  • Referral to specialists and coordination of care
  • Immunizations
  • Detection of colorectal cancer
  • Screening for skin cancer
  • Testing for prostate cancer
  • Evaluation of risk for heart disease and osteoporosis
  • Care of acute illnesses, including (but not limited to) strep throat, infectious mononucleosis, influenza, bronchitis, pneumonia and gastroenteritis
  • A variety of surgical procedures, including (but not limited to) simple suturing for minor lacerations, lesion removal for biopsy, incision and drainage of wounds and cysts, cryotherapy for lesions like warts
  • Care for chronic health conditions, including (but not limited to) asthma, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, back pain
